NASCAR coverage on MN radio

If you are traveling on a race weekend in Minnesota and can't be near a TV set, nothing sounds better than coverage of NASCAR races on the radio.

MRN (Motor racing network) and PRN (Performance racing network) alternate coverage at the NASCAR tracks and do a great job.

Here are a couple options if you are looking for NASCAR radio coverage in MN.

WVAL AM 800 (St Cloud) is a very strong signal in Central MN... they broadcast every Sprint Cup race

KQAQ AM 970 (Austin) MN also has a strong signal and can be heard 2 hrs into Wisconsin.

KFAN FM 100.3 in MPLS will broadcast SOME races, if they have no other sports they will put it on.

Here is a link from MRN of their stations in MN
